When teaching language students, it is good to provide them with interactive activities that give them the opportunity to practice the language. In this picture, you can see UTP students doing a "find someone who..." activity.

Foldable book

Thanks to my participation in the E-Teachers Scholarship Program (2011) and E-Teacher Professional Development Workshop at UMBC (2012), I have had the opportunity to learn new and interesting ways to teach English and help my students to learn English in an effective and interactive way. In one of the workshops offered by Dr. Joan Shin from UMBC (Teaching English to Young Learners), I learned about foldable books. They are very practical and students enjoy them. This is an example of two foldables books prepared by sixth graders.
